Zygi Wilf Lowers Minnesota Vikings Stadium Contribution to As Low as $270m
A guy rolls into town in a limo from the National Football League to demand public money for Zygi Wilf’s private business. While demanding the public’s money, he mentions this:
Of the $420 million or so the Wilfs have said the Vikings would contribute to a new stadium, Grubman estimated $100 million to $150 million could come from league financing.
Let’s split the difference at $125 million. $420 million minus $125 million is $295 million.
Which would mean that Zygi Wilf would be putting less money than Ramsey County toward the stadium he’s demanding.
Which would mean that Zygi Wilf would be putting less money than the State of Minnesota toward the stadium he’s demanding.
Zygi’s contribution would be less than 30%!
He’s asking for more public money than any NFL franchisee in the history of the NFL, and isn’t even willing to put up 30% of the cost!
